GHTA Members Only Speaker event in Las Vegas
Speaker: Kerry Morris, VP of Home, Hardlines & Licensing, Merchandising at zulily

At the Las Vegas Market, Kerry will introduce zulily’s unique business model, which utilizes a personalized discovery-based shopping platform to provide customers 9,000 products daily across a variety of product categories – including clothing, shoes, home décor, toys, gifts and more. She will discuss macro trends for the retail industry, with specific focus on how to stay competitive and relevant in a technology-powered and mobile-first world. Lastly, Kerry will highlight the value zulily brings to their partnering vendors, by providing data-driven guidance from fulfillment to forecasting, and their ability to employ the power of multichannel marketing to make even the smallest brand a “hero” for the day.
About Kerry Morris:
Kerry joined Zulily in May of 2013 and has headed up the Home & Hardlines Merchandising teams after spending 10 years at Amazon, where she managed a variety of teams that sourced and developed a wide range of product categories from Toys & Outdoor to Kitchen & Home. She was instrumental in launching their wedding and gifting space and developing Amazon’s first Private Label Brands. Prior to joining Amazon she was part of the merchandising, International sourcing and private label divisions at WalMart and Costco Wholesale. Kerry loves to travel and spend time in the outdoors, especially gardening and hiking.

GHTA Members Only Speaker event in Atlanta
During this presentation, Amelia will discuss fourth quarter observations and expected macro trends for 2017. She will also explore e-commerce and how suppliers are using it to complement current operations. Finally, Amelia will discuss partnership challenges and solutions, suppliers who can benefit from e-commerce the most, and the best way to leverage major platforms to gain access to millions of consumers across the globe.

Amelia Taylor oversees the Decorative Accents and Seasonal Décor categories at Wayfair, where she focuses on engaging consumers through a robust product selection and cutting-edge merchandising technology that brings the in-store experience to online shoppers. Prior to joining Wayfair, Amelia specialized in developing strategic business solutions for Retail and Travel & Tourism clients as a Senior Consultant at L.E.K. Consulting. Amelia also has a background in financial portfolio management and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

The 15th Annual GHTA Conference/4th Annual Gift & Home Bridgeway Collaborative Conference will be held November 12-14, 2017 in Washington, D.C.
