Conference Testimonials

As a new member and first time conference attendee (in 2015), GHTA has proven to be a successful organization for RepTime finding prominent leaders looking for technology advances in their sales agencies. It is always great to collaborate with members that are supporting the gift and home industry. I can honestly say that GHTA is my ‘go-to’ place for meeting positive business owners and listening to their input on how to deliver an effective sales software system for showrooms and road. RepTime is a proud to support GHTA all the way!”
— Hemal Patel, RepTime
This past year was Road Runners second year attending the GHTA conference. Our team agrees this is the best conference we attend all year! From the top-notch motivational speakers to the small group education and problem solving workshops, to the industry networking — every minute of the conference is packed with useful content that applies to everyday business. You will not be disappointed!
— Angela Schmook, Road Runners
Rosenthal is in our second year of membership with the GHTA and it only gets better and better. The annual conference is a perfect opportunity to spend time with our many clients who are GHTA members; it’s also a great platform for meeting prospective clients in a friendly, inviting atmosphere. We were fortunate to participate as an exhibitor and speaker at the 2015 conference, and both experiences were positive and worthwhile. The conference programs in particular have given us great insight into the Gift and Home sector — both the challenges and opportunities that GHTA members face every day — and have helped us to shape the way Rosenthal serves its clients in the industry.
— Cassie Rosenthal, Rosenthal & Rosenthal, Inc.
Since joining GHTA in 2004, I am proud to be part of an organization that truly cares about the gift industry’s longevity. GHTA offers you the opportunity to interact socially with peers that are normally too busy to talk at shows. One of my favorite conference activities is the “Give Back” event. Wherever our conference is located, the committee identifies a local organization for us to focus on. Then they create an opportunity to work with that organization by lending a hand. There are so many other things to share — you really should check it out for yourself! Be a part of GHTA and make a difference.
— Sande Womack, New Era Sales Team
The GHTA Annual Conference is just one of the many benefits offered by the organization, but one that should not be missed. In addition to the extraordinary networking opportunities available to all members, the conference content is top notch. The programming serves as a reminder that running a solid business is essential. A variety of speakers remind us to review the purpose of our company, to keep up with market and demographic trends. And when life —- or business — throws you a curve ball, be resilient. You can’t help but leave the conference with many key takeaways to apply to driving your business growth and to challenging yourself to become a better leader
— Diane Carnevale Jones, Carnevale Jones Group LLC and The Writers and Consortium

Give Back

The 2016 Give Back event had attendees building and decorating bikes and wagons for active duty, military families. Many of these individuals regularly struggle and it was our goal to bring some happiness to the children of those that serve our great nation. This heartwarming activity benefited Homefront San Diego. We also supported the San Diego Military Outreach Ministries distribution center, which provides children (under age 12) clothing, infant diapers, baby food, toys, and small household items. If you are interested in further supporting our partners by making financial or product donations, we are beyond grateful. Please email the GHTA office at [email protected]

About our 2016 Give Back Partners:

Homefront San Diego, a 100% volunteer-run organization provides assistance to active military families in their time of need, in partnership with San Diego Military Outreach Ministries (SDMOM), an organization whose mission is to provide help with some basic needs, as well as holding events that enhance the quality of life, for all military junior enlisted families who live in San Diego County. Together, the organizations have helped more than 11,00 families with car repairs, computers, furniture, baby items, financial needs, food assistance, and much more! Homefront San Diego is a non-profit organization partnered with our 501(c)3 partner The Navy League of San Diego.
