Attention Golfers! Sanibel is ready for the GHTA!

Wasn't the US Open a "thing of beauty?"  It was really neat knowing we just played that very course last year!  
 
The time has come to start planning this year's GHTA / Gift for Life golf outing.  All are invited to preview the tentative plan and e-mail Marc Rice at marcrice@foxpremiersales.com to indicate your interest in joining your fellow golfers for a great cause.

* Date:  Thursday, November 20, 2008
* Time: 8:30 a.m. / Shotgun  Start
* Location: The Dunes (about 2 miles from the resort)

* Cost (Approximate):  $125 - $150 per player.  Costs  include 18 holes of golf,  cart,  lunch and $50 charitable donation to GHTA /  Gift for Life

What's a Texas Scramble? Definition: Texas Scramble is a competition format that is a basic scramble (http://golf.about.com/cs/golfterms/g/bldef_scramble.htm) with a slight twist. Scrambles involve 4-person teams playing four balls, but with each shot coming from the same spot (the best of the four drives is  chosen and all four team members then hit from that spot, and so on).  

* And there's more! We're planning to have holes dedicated to longest drive and closest to the pin, a 50/50 ticket drawing, mulligans and all kinds of other exciting elements that are designed for us to have some fun as well as raise a little bit of money for GHTA and Gift for Life.
